lecturer - responsibilities

Role and Responsibility

The Lecturer's primary duty is to plan and present worthwhile programs that enhance the council's meetings, strengthen members, and provide deeper insight into the Knights' history, faith, and current topics.

"Good of the Order"

The Lecturer is responsible for the "Good of the Order" portion of council meetings, which involves providing spiritual discourses, reflections, and other activities that benefit the members.

Appointment

The Grand Knight, the highest-ranking elected officer of the council, appoints the Lecturer.

Purpose

The Lecturer's programs aim to build meeting attendance, educate members, and foster a sense of community and fellowship within the council. 

Example Topics

Lectures may cover a variety of subjects including spiritual journeys, faith, culture, and current events.
